A holiday home
You spend a season at a second home and want TV there without paying for it all year round.
Suggested: 3 months · $33

What you can watch
The English-language viewing people ask us about most
- News and current affairs in English, live rather than on catch-up
- Live sport with English commentary
- Drama, comedy and entertainment series
- Children’s channels in English
- Films in their original English audio, plus subtitles on many titles
We do not list channel names on the website because line-ups change. Tell us the channels you used to watch and we will tell you what is available today.
Practical tips
Watching English TV from abroad: what makes a difference
Set the guide to your local time
Choose the time zone where you live, not where the channel broadcasts, so programmes show at the right hour.
Rural connection? Test it first
Fibre is ideal, but a stable 4G/5G home router can work well if it holds 10 Mbps in the evening.
Use subtitles for the family
Where a title carries subtitle tracks, switch them on from the player — useful for mixed-language households.
Match the plan to your stay
Three or six months suits a season away; twelve months is the best value if you live there.
Good to knowRules on accessing TV services differ from country to country. Please make sure your use of the service is permitted where you live.
Compared
IPTV or a satellite dish abroad?
For many English speakers living in Europe, the choice comes down to these differences.
| What matters | mom iptv | Satellite dish |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment | The TV, stick or phone you already own | Dish, receiver and installation — signals aimed at the UK can need a very large dish further south |
| Moving or travelling | Works anywhere with good internet | Dish has to be re-installed and realigned |
| Payment | Prepaid 1, 3, 6 or 12 months | Often equipment costs plus a subscription |
| Depends on | A stable broadband or 4G/5G connection | Weather, obstructions and dish alignment |
