Live sport

Sports channels on mom iptv

Live sport is the hardest thing to stream well — fast motion, big audiences, everyone online at once. Here is what to expect, how to get a steady picture at kick-off, and how to check a fixture before you buy.

What to ask about

Broadcasting rights change from season to season and country to country, so we confirm availability for the competitions you care about rather than listing them here.

Match-day routine

Your kick-off checklist

Five minutes before a big game makes more difference than any setting. This is the routine we suggest.

  1. An hour before

Restart the router and the TV device so both start fresh.

  2. 30 minutes before

Pause downloads, console updates and cloud backups in the house.

  3. 15 minutes before

Open the channel early so the stream settles before kick-off.

  4. Have a back-up ready

Note an alternative version of the channel (HD or SD) in case one struggles.

  5. Kick-off

Leave the live score apps alone — internet streams run a few seconds behind.

Fast motion needs more data

A moving ball and a panning camera change every pixel, every frame. Allow at least 10 Mbps for HD sport and 25 Mbps for 4K.

Everyone watches at once

Big matches are when home and street networks are busiest. A cable connection keeps you ahead of the crowd.

Frame rate matters

Turn on Match Frame Rate on Apple TV, and switch off heavy motion smoothing on your TV for natural movement.

Setting expectationsAn honest word: no internet TV service can promise zero buffering during the biggest events. What we can promise is a straight answer before you buy and real help if something goes wrong.

Sport questions

Will a particular match be available?

Sport availability depends on broadcasting rights and changes from season to season, so we do not list events on the website. Message us before you order with the competition or match you care about.

Why does live sport stutter when films play perfectly?

Sport is fast-moving and usually broadcast at higher frame rates, and big events mean busy home networks. A wired connection, a restarted router before kick-off and fewer devices online make the biggest difference.

Is the live stream behind the TV broadcast?

Internet streams run a little behind traditional broadcasts — usually seconds rather than minutes. If you follow live scores on your phone, you may see a goal there first.

Got a big match coming up?

Tell us the competition and your device. We will tell you what to expect and help you set up in time.
